NASHUA, NH – Today, EXPANSIA won the Prime position on the ABMS Integrated Digital Environment (IDE) contract, a critical effort that will develop an implementation and management strategy to ensure a cohesive, scalable, and collaborative IDE for the ABMS program. This work will enable faster decision-making, seamless interoperability across systems, and access to accurate mission-critical information, all of which are vital to the warfighter.
“Our mission as an organization is to solve real readiness challenges, and that’s exactly what this work represents,” said the company’s Chief Growth Officer, Angela Dupont. “We bring deep experience in building and sustaining Integrated Digital Environments from the ground up, so we’re absolutely excited for the opportunity to deliver impact at this level.”
EXPANSIA has built IDEs in support of additive and advanced manufacturing, digital engineering, and C5ISR. The company’s Chief Technology Officer, Tim Gramp, said, “Our proven IDE approach enables real-time collaboration, the data integration guarantees decision-advantage, and it accelerates capability delivery overall.”
The Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Division is responsible for fielding aerial and terrestrial digital infrastructure, software and applications, and distributed nodes for command and control, and battle management, and falls under the Department of the Air Force Program Executive Officer for Command, Control, Communications and Battle Management (DAF PEO C3BM).
DAF PEO C3BM’s mission is to deliver an integrated DAF BATTLE NETWORK, the systems-of-systems that provides resilient decision advantage. It integrates roughly 50 programs of record across the department, ensuring resilient decision and information advantage needed by the Air Force, Space Force, Joint, and Coalition forces to win against the pacing challenge.
It is the DAF’s contribution to Combined Joint All Domain Command and Control (CJADC2).
The ABMS IDE contract spans one base year and two one-year option periods.
